ShedHeads, WE. ARE. BACK.

The wait is over. College football has returned, the Shed doors are officially open, and the chase for the Front Door Cup begins again.

Welcome to Year 6 of the Green Shed Guys.

Six years. Six seasons of picks. Six seasons of bad beats, questionable decisions, inexplicable upsets, victory laps, heartbreak, and the kind of high-level college football analysis that you simply cannot find anywhere else on the internet. Through it all, you ShedHeads have continued to come back week after week, and we couldn’t be more excited to have you along for another ride.

The formula hasn’t changed. Every week, three Guys put their reputations on the line with five college football picks. No hiding. No deleting tweets. No pretending a pick never happened. When the dust settles at the end of the season, one man will stand alone and raise the most prestigious trophy in college football handicapping: The Front Door Cup.

And in Year 6, all three Guys have reason to believe it could be them.

GUY #1 — The Steady Hand

Guy #1 enters Year 6 knowing exactly what it takes to survive the long college football season. He’s patient. He’s calculated. He knows the Front Door Cup isn’t won in September — but it can certainly be lost there. While others may chase the shiny upset or fall in love with a Saturday morning narrative, Guy #1 is willing to trust his board and play the long game.

Why he can win Year 6: Consistency. You don’t have to be the smartest man in the Shed every Saturday. You just have to be right more often than the other two.

GUY #2 — The Gunslinger

Nobody really knows what Guy #2 is going to do — and that includes Guy #2. That’s part of the magic. When others zig, he has absolutely no problem zagging. He’ll take the ugly dog. He’ll back the team everyone spent all week making fun of. And he’ll do it without blinking.

There will be Saturdays when Guy #2 makes you question everything you thought you knew about college football. There will also be Saturdays when he looks like the smartest man alive.

Why he can win Year 6: He’s not afraid to be different. Trends are for the cautious. Guy #2 was built for the bold.

GUY #3 — The Lawman

Guy #3 rides into Year 6 with five seasons of experience, a steady hand, and his sights set squarely on the Front Door Cup. He’s seen just about everything the college football frontier can throw at him—bad beats, miracle covers, sucker lines, and Saturday night shootouts. Through it all, the Lawman has learned one thing: when chaos comes to town, somebody has to keep order.

This season, Guy #3 is looking to lay down the law. He isn’t afraid to trust his read, stand alone on a pick, or stare down a line that has the rest of the Shed running scared.

Why he can win Year 6: Experience and conviction. The Lawman has been patrolling these parts for five years. In Year 6, he’s not looking for justice—he’s coming for the Cup.

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE…

Last year, we finally let the ShedHeads in on one of the Shed’s best-kept secrets: The Fellas’ Teaser Ticket.

And it’s back for Year 6. Every week, we’re bringing together six experts to build the weekly Teaser Ticket. Six football minds. Six picks. One ticket. Some call it gambling. We call it collaborative research.

The Fellas’ Teaser Ticket will be posted weekly alongside the Front Door Cup, giving ShedHeads even more of the premium, high-level football content they’ve come to expect from this operation. We’ll have picks. We’ll have reasoning. We’ll have disagreements. And, inevitably, we’ll have someone whose selection makes the other five wonder why we invited him back.

But that’s the beauty of the Shed.

So dust off your Saturdays. Fire up the grill. Fill the cooler. Tell your wife you’ll be productive on Sunday.

Year 6 is here.

Three Guys.

Six experts.

Hundreds of games.

One Front Door Cup.

And an entire season to figure out who wants it most.

Welcome back, ShedHeads.

Let’s pick some damn football.
